Research
The K20 Center works to connect individuals or collaborative teams of innovative, entrepreneurial, interdisciplinary scholars who work across traditional fields to solve complex problems facing the 21st century global society. In particular, these scholars seek to address the national crisis in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) education. The K20 Center supports interdisciplinary scholarship through
- An established network of over 500 schools;
- Track record of large, successful grants (federal, state, and private);
- University infrastructure and state-of-the-art facilities on research campus;
- Support for testing and commercialization of products; and
- Collaborative research community to exchange ideas.
