K20 Faculty Fellows:  Interdisciplinary Research Impacts Schools and Communities

K20 Faculty Fellows have a firm commitment to conducting outstanding research, teaching and service aimed directly at difficult problems associated with successfully educating all of our young people.  This commitment includes conducting interdisciplinary research and teaching; co-generating questions; consulting with policymakers, practitioners and funders to shape the nature of their investigations; and sharing their findings across organizational and geographic boundaries.

K20 Faculty Fellows represent multiple disciplines, organizations, colleges and universities who share a commitment to make a difference in schools and communities.  K20 Faculty Fellows not only build knowledge, but enhance its impact by engaging directly with the policymakers and practitioners who will put it to use.  They seek answers that meet the genuine needs of schools and communities.
