Glenne’ Whisenhunt

Glenne’ came to the K20 Center with sixteen years of education experience. Glenne’ possesses a bachelor’s degree in Chemistry Education with an additional major in Biology from East Central University in Ada, Oklahoma.  Her master’s degree is in Secondary Education Administration from ECU.  She has taught inquiry-based science to students in grades 8-12 in several rural and suburban school districts. She will tell you that her professional passion is finding new ways to reach high poverty, at-risk students.  She has compiled and written a text for at-risk Biology I students. Currently, she is a second year doctoral student pursuing her PhD in Educational Administration, Curriculum, and Supervision with a technology emphasis.  Glenne’ serves as the Associate Director of the Star Schools Project for the K20 Center.  The focus of her work is lesson study and technology integration in classrooms.
