Board of Advisors

The K20 Center Board of Advisors has been an integral part of the K20 Center’s success since its formation in 2003. Consisting of up to 20 active members, the board advises the vice provost and director on all matters pertaining to the center. The board impacts the center through its efforts in the areas of academic and research quality, recruitment and retention of top researchers and programs, private fund raising, and the overall stature of the K20 Center. Two major goals of the board during the upcoming year are to develop a statewide mentoring program for beginning teachers and to help sustain the K20 Center’s nationally recognized leadership program for principals and superintendents.

K20 Board of Advisors meets twice a year to help guide the work of the K20 Center in developing high-achieving, interactive learning communities. Their service is immeasurable and much appreciated.
