Early Childhood Leadership Institute: A focus on the realities of implementing quality programs for early learnersThe Early Childhood Leadership Institute is designed to provide information and practical solutions as we work to ensure the highest quality early learning experiences for Oklahoma children. This event is designed to be relevant to educational leaders, early childhood practitioners, public service partners and stakeholders in early childhood initiatives including parents, private collaborators and others.In partnership with the K20 Center, The Early Childhood Leadership Institute will be held Thursday, October 25th and Friday, October 26th at the Tulsa Technology Center, Peoria Campus.
The Norman Chamber of Commerce’s Weather Committee will host the 3rd Annual National Weather Festival from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 20, at the National Weather Center, 120 David L. Boren Blvd., in Norman. The free public event will feature tours, children’s activities, a storm chaser car show, displays by local businesses, weather-related seminars, Science on a Sphere, and hourly weather balloon launches.
