Teacher Mentoring PDIThe first annual OEC-M Mentoring Professional Development Institute (PDI) will be held July 10-12, 2007 in the Leadership Room of the K20 Center.

The purposes of the PDI are:

• To provide career teachers with knowledge and skills to mentor and coach
• To act as a mentor in a professional learning community
• To support the beginning teacher in developing high expectations for student learning and in becoming a contributing member in a professional learning community.

Follow-up meeting will be held September 12, November 6, December 6, 2007 and February 5, 2008.
